Who is a Big Brother or Big Sister?

A safe, caring person, 18 years or older, married or single, with or without children, who volunteers a few hours a week to provide guidance and fun for a child. 

How much time does it take to be a Big Brother or Big Sister?


It can take a little as two hours per week, and we ask for a one year commitment.

How does matching happen?

With full support of the mentoring coordinator and parent a child is matched with a volunteer based on interests and personalities.

How do I apply?


Who are Little Brothers and Little Sisters?

Children between the ages of 6 and 18, who need a mentor.

 

How do I enroll a Little Brother or Little Sister?

A child can be referred to the program by a parent, family member, family friend, teacher or counsellor.
