Big Bunch is a group activities program offering monthly activities for children waiting for a one to one match.

                                    Who are Big Bunch Leaders?

Volunteers are at least 16 years old.  Volunteering as a Big Bunch Leader can be a very rewarding experience. We offer an opportunity to learn new and useful skills, as well as an opportunity to be involved with children in a fun and supportive role.

How do I apply to become a Big Bunch Leader?

How much time does it take?

If you can spare one Saturday afternoon per month for a scheduled activity that's usually 3 to 4 hours long, you can become a Big Bunch Leader.  Check out the Chilliwack  Events Calendar. Please click here for the Hope/Kent calender. Note: subject to change.

Who are the Big Bunch Participants?

Children who attend Big Bunch group activities are waiting for a one-to-one match with a Big Brother or Big Sister. The children are from a variety of backgrounds and can range from 6 to 13 years old.

Is there a financial cost to attending activities as a Big Bunch Leader?

Costs for this program are covered by the agency.

How does a child become involved in the program?

A child can be referred to the program by a parent, family member, family friend, teacher or counsellor.
