Big Bunch is a group activities program offering monthly activities for children waiting for a one to one match. Who are Big Bunch Leaders? Volunteers are at least 16 years old. Volunteering as a Big Bunch Leader can be a very rewarding experience. We offer an opportunity to learn new and useful skills, as well as an opportunity to be involved with children in a fun and supportive role. How do I apply to become a Big Bunch Leader? How much time does it take? If you can spare one Saturday afternoon per month for a scheduled activity that's usually 3 to 4 hours long, you can become a Big Bunch Leader. Children who attend Big Bunch group activities are waiting for a one-to-one match with a Big Brother or Big Sister. The children are from a variety of backgrounds and can range from 6 to 13 years old. Is there a financial cost to attending activities as a Big Bunch Leader? Costs for this program are covered by the agency. How does a child become involved in the program? A child can be referred to the program by a parent, family member, family friend, teacher or counsellor.
